Executive Assistant to CEO

EA Search is proud to be partnering with a global strategic advisory firm, in the search for an Executive Assistant to support the newly-hired CEO in a 1:1 capacity.
  
The business is a global advisory firm, helping large corporates navigate critical situations; working to protect, save, or enhance their clients reputations.
  
This is a phenomenal business – they’re true visionaries, huge on culture, and whilst operating on a global scale with over 1,600 employees, they still retain a boutique approach firm-wide.
   
This is a vital hire for the firm, and the successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the fundamentals are handled to an extremely high level, whilst acting as a true right-hand to the CEO.
  
The successful hire can expect to take on special projects, help to connect the dots across the firm, prepare ahead of important meetings, act as a gatekeeper/buffer on behalf of the CEO, and most importantly, become a key player within the Executive Office.
  
The CEO himself is fantastic and has been described as a ‘culture guru’ – responsible for creating, building, and maintaining some of the best corporate cultures across America.
  
Type:

  • Permanent – full time. 
  • Flexible days in the office – initially starting as 4/5 days, with flexibility once the hired EA and CEO find their rhythm.

  
Compensation & Benefits:

  • $180,000 to $220,000
  • 5 weeks vacation
  • Standard corporate benefits, including insurance, medical coverage, and 401(k) contribution. 
  • Benefits are fully vested from day one.

  
Responsibilities:

  • Providing high-level support to the Chief Executive Officer, including calendar management, global travel and supporting logistics, meeting management and preparation, and handling internal and external correspondence.
  • Facilitation of board meetings, including agenda preparation, minute taking, and ensuring compliance with government and industry regulations.
  • Developing and maintaining strategic relationships with key stakeholders across the business, including board members, senior executives, and external partners.
  • Serve as the primary contact point on behalf of the CEO, ensuring timely responses to inquiries, and filtering through important requests/information.
  • Assisting in the research, development, and execution of strategic initiatives across the global organization.
  • Oversee special projects as requested by the CEO, ensuring timelines are adhered to and milestones are achieved.
  • Identify potential risks and issues which may impact the CEO’s agenda or goals, and proactively mitigate challenges.

  
Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a C-Suite Executive Assistant.
  • Exceptional organizational and multi-tasking abilities, with proficiency in global calendar management and travel coordination.
  • You must be able to demonstrate strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a proven track record of driving results in a fast-moving environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact with stakeholders at any level, with confidence and diplomacy.
  • Flexibility to adapt to constantly changing priorities, whilst remaining calm and resilient under pressure.
